CD • James Holden - The idiots are winning [14BC] UK

Rythmic hypnotic unpleasant minimalistic electronica.

UK-based producer who has gained substantial fame for his tireless remixing and his instantly-recognizable ethereal progressive house style with a very apparent attention to detail. He garnered instant fame in 1999 with the release of his first 12", "Horizons / Pacific" on Silver Planet. "Horizons" was licensed to INCredible and became one of the biggest surprise hits of 1999. At the time James was only 19. He has since followed up with a handful of original productions, a slew of highly-regarded remixes, a pair of mix albums, and successful collaborations with Ben Pound and Van Bellen. In 2003, "Horizons" was eclipsed by the runaway popularity of "Nothing" Holden & Thompson and "A Break In The Clouds" (the first release on his own label Border Community). In 2006 he remixed Depeche Mode's The Darkest Star
