IAMX is the illegitimate brainchild of Sneaker Pimps front man and whiz kid producer Chris Corner. His self-produced, performed and perfected debut album “Kiss + Swallow” is a moving collection of songs for unhinged and creative mind.
The content is sexual, synthetic, dark and melodic, like 80s’ electro glam soundtrack to Svankmajer film. Call it a cross between Detroit or Berlin escapades, Prince or Roxy Music’s pop, or the electronic universe of Cabaret Voltaire. IAMX erotic vocals accompanied with frantic guitar noise breaths life into the songs.
On stage Chris is joined by a changing selection of close friends, and their performance is set to a visual backdrop of home videos, Japanese porno and fighting toys.
